This first example will be with Google Meet, as that is a free service (now) to everyone and will work well for body doubling. 

I open my Gmail and at the bottom-left of the window I see "Meet" with two items under it. I select "New meeting" and a new window pops up saying "Share your new meeting" giving you the link to copy (which I do) and then I click "Start now". Now I can give out my invite link to whoever I'd like to join my session!

If after you are in the meet, you'd like to find/copy the code just click on the information icon (i) in the bottom-right of the window.
